2018 Year of the Earth Dog

The Dog is the 11th of the 12 animals in the Chinese Zodiac.

Being "man's best friend", the dog is the personification of loyalty and companionship. People born in the Year of the Dog are said to be good-natured and always willing to help others.

According to Raymond Lo, one of Hong Kong’s foremost feng shui master, the heavy earth element in the Year of the Earth Dog is expected to bring prosperity to Wood industries (fashion, media, paper, books, education and environment).

Fire industries (energy, finance and entertainment) will be productive but not as profitable.

Earth industries (property, mining and high technology) will find things challenging this year. Likewise, Metal industries (banking, machinery, cars) and Water industries (transport, communication, shipping).

The general economic atmosphere will be a bearish cycle, concludes Lo.

Tiger

  • Expect career or business advancement, but they come with challenges. So keep a cool head.
